Little John

Little John's landmark-reference is the first bridge you go under after Tops Needle below Inanda Dam.

This rapid changed during the April 2022 floods and is now shorter and steeper. The rapid is straight and wide to start with but gets channeled and steep towards the end, resulting in some fast-moving water with big waves and a hole to avoid.

The line, to avoid a swim, is simply to avoid the massive boulder/pour-over in the centre of the final drop by keeping well left.
