Umgeni River (uMngeni)

River races are held on the Umgeni River from the confluence with the Duzi River to the sea at Blue Lagoon in Durban, as well as on the section between Albert Falls and Nagle Dams. The entire course is regulated by dams and races depend almost exclusively on water releases.
